Goals & Gratitude: My Life Design Framework

A few years ago, I started a three minute morning routine and it has literally changed my life.

I know, you are thinking … Kim – WTF, how can three minutes each day change your life? It gets me focused on my goals (designing & manifesting my life) while also being thankful for the life I have today (gratitude).

Goals & Gratitude has become the framework & foundation for my Life Design.

You have probably heard of the law of attraction, if not, here’s a brief definition … The law of attraction is a universal principle that states you will attract into your life whatever you focus on.

One caveat, to the law of attraction … In addition to focusing on what you want, you must also act! You can’t just sit around dreaming about something & do nothing. You must act.

“There's a wonderful old Italian joke about a poor man who goes to church every day and prays before the statue of a great saint, begging, "Dear saint-please, please, please...give me the grace to win the lottery." This lament goes on for months. Finally the exasperated statue comes to life, looks down at the begging man and says in weary disgust, "My son-please, please, please...buy a ticket."

The law of attraction & action is built into my Goals & Gratitude practice.

By starting my day focusing on my goals, I am putting myself in alignment to attract & manifest what I am focusing on … my goals & my life design.

By focusing on gratitude and being thankful for the life I have today. I record & reflect (feel) the love & joy for the things/experiences in my life. In these moments, I am tuning my spiritual vibrations to those needed to manifest & design.

I have found that when I am in high vibration mode with feelings of love, joy & gratitude, I am turn on my manifesting mode.

Goals & Gratitude: Life Design Framework

In your favorite journal with your favorite pen:

- Write down your Goals or Mantras. This is the foundation of life design & it helps you manifest the life you want to create.

I write down 7 long-term & 3 actionable short-term goals/mantras.

Why 7 & 3? Because they are my favorite numbers.

Choose the right numbers for you. My only recommendation is to keep it under 10. Any more may feel overwhelming.

Goal vs. Mantra

Goal is something tangible.

Mantra is a more intangible, a belief or value.

Goal: I travel & explore the world in luxury

Mantra: I am filled with love

- Write down at least 3 things you are grateful for from the past 24 hours. Be as specific as possible to that particular day. Then, take a moment to feel the joy and Gratitude for each.

Goals & Gratitude has been as part of my morning routine for years. As a result, I am now living the life I once dreamt of.

I am currently designing & manifesting enjoying my morning coffee in Greece.

Goal: Travel to & enjoy Greece in luxury

Action: Implement credit card travel hacking strategy for Greece
